Why true?

Only we are at the bottom of a grotto surrounded by mountains, pointing their peaks to the sky ...

Only we have at the bottom of the house a stream of clean and transparent waters, where fish with wide eyes swim ...

Just us, we have an orchard with old hoses and jabuticaba trees surrounded by orange, hairy, pitangueiras and much more ...

We have a house worthy of the Viscount's “grandson” with 19 rooms and over 60 doors and windows. All original.

Everything just like Monteiro Lobato left.

Many people who visit us are thrilled to be in the place of creation of this great Brazilian.

We celebrate here, the first three books published by Monteiro Lobato.

Here, too, he kicked off his children's work when he writes for Godofredo Rangel and says he is thinking of writing for children. He wants to write books so good "that children can live inside them."

In addition to vacationing as a student, he received the 3,000 bushel farm in 1911 and moved here with his wife and two children. Here two more children were born.

When he sold the site, he bought Editora Monteiro Lobato, the first in the country.

Beyond the story we have a well diversified yard with chicken, garnisé, duck, goose, mallards, turkey, cow, horse, pig, dog, cat and many puppies and many birds ...

We have lake for fishing, waterfall for swimming, soccer field, natural pool, etc.

To shine our eyes we have a craft studio and a small shop for handmade and organic sweets and cookies.
