Buenos Aires
With 13 million inhabitants, Buenos Aires is the federal capital, as well as the largest and most important city of the Republic of Argentina.
Also called "Queen of the Silver" is one of the most important cities in the world, the most influential cultural capital of South America and one of the political and economic poles of the region.
The city is undoubtedly the largest, most important and most developed urban, financial, cultural, administrative, political, industrial and commercial center in Argentina.
The city is located on the west coast of the River Plate, on the southeast coast of the South American continent.
Tourism
It mixes up a beautiful European city with hospitable residents, gourmet cuisine, incredible shopping, a frenetic nightlife and plenty of activities, and creates Buenos Aires, a cosmopolitan metropolis with two flat districts and equally crowded areas of people - but this is part of the environment. It is an elegant place, seductive, with an irregular border, linked to the languor of the old world and still full of contemporary attitude. Buenos Aires is somehow strangely familiar, but unlike any other city in the world.

It is a city full of European architecture, year-round festivals, and endless events, while Argentina have some of the most impressive natural landscapes in the world.

Argentina is a vast area of pampas and large estates, known as estancias. Traditionally, these farms are managed by cowboys, or better known as gauchos.

Among many, the most popular tourist sites are in the historic core of the city, in the neighborhoods of Montserrat and San Telmo. Buenos Aires was conceived around the Plaza de Mayo, the administrative center of the colony. To the east of the square is the Casa Rosada, the official seat of the executive branch of the government of Argentina. To the north, the Metropolitan Cathedral, which has been in the same place since colonial times, and the building of the Banco de la Nación Argentina, a plot of land originally owned by Juan de Garay. Other important colonial institutions were Cabildo, to the west, that was renovated during the construction of the Avenue of May and Julio A. Roca. To the south is the Congress of the Nation, which currently houses the National Academy of History (National Academy of History). Finally, to the northwest, it is the City Hall.

In recent years, non-traditional tourism options have become quite popular with travelers visiting Buenos Aires, from bicycle tours or free walks, examples of endless possibilities to explore the city.
Gastronomy
Buenos Aires is a symbiosis of extensive and fertile fields with a modern Europeanized city. The region offers a varied menu, with classic and signature restaurants, and gourmet or fast food dishes.

The typical regional meals are Andean dishes, such as locro (the base of mondongo, red sausage, corn, beans and meats), tamales (corn meal, meat, cheese, wrapped in corncobs). The alfajores are available in kiosks and there are also the handcrafted ones. They are small wafer sandwiches stuffed with dulce de leche. Street sweets are peanuts and sugar-coated almonds.

During your visit you can visit any restaurant and enjoy the roasts, with the best beef cuts in the country. These barbecues are foods accompanied by achuras (viscera) and usually served with a good Argentinean wine. Sitting down to enjoy a barbecue is more than a synonym of banquet, it is a guarantee of a pleasant moment.
