Curiously, the building does not have garages or an electric doorman: each visitor must announce themselves at the reception, which gives notice by telephone to the corresponding department (in total it has 105). At the end of 2008, the 14th floor of the Kavanagh building went on sale at a price of US $ 5.9 million for its 726 square meters, or US $ 8,126 per square meter. It is the only apartment that occupies an entire floor. It has a 360 degree view of the Río de la Plata, Plaza San Martín, Puerto Madero and the rest of the City.
Its owner is a British nobleman. This is Lord Alain Levenfiche, born in 1951 in Paris but raised in London.

The Kavanagh Building is an apartment tower located at 1065 Florida Street, opposite Plaza San Martín, in the Retiro neighborhood of the city of Buenos Aires. Inaugurated on January 3, 1936, with its 120 m, it was at the time the tallest reinforced concrete building in South America, and the first residential building in Buenos Aires to have air conditioning equipment. Its staggered construction gave rise to garden terraces. It has a shape similar to the prow of a ship, and the orientation of the building gives rise to the similarity of it pointing towards the Río de la Plata Since 1999 this building is a national historical monument.
